When verification is used
We may request identity, age or business information for verification badges, account recovery, monetization, payouts, fraud prevention, legal compliance or appeals. We do not request more than the process reasonably needs.
Data involved
- Identity or business document images and fields.
- A selfie, liveness check or other comparison signal where necessary.
- Verification result, issuing country, expiry status and fraud indicators.
- Contact and transaction information linked to the verification purpose.
Use and sharing
Identity data is used to complete the requested check, prevent abuse, protect accounts and meet legal obligations. Approved verification providers may process it under contract. We do not use identity document images for advertising.
Retention and protection
Raw documents are retained only as long as necessary for verification, dispute, fraud and legal requirements; verification status and audit records may be kept longer. Access is restricted and protected using heightened security controls.
Changes to this document
We may update this document to reflect changes to Nabtap, the law or the way we protect the community. When a change is material, we will provide notice appropriate to its significance and request fresh acceptance where required.
