A second look matters
Moderation involves context and mistakes can happen. Eligible notices include an appeal path, the policy involved and a plain-language description of what changed.
Write a useful appeal
- Explain the context a reviewer may have missed.
- Identify documentary, educational, artistic, satirical or counterspeech purpose where relevant.
- Do not submit the same explanation repeatedly; add new information if you have it.
Possible outcomes
We may uphold, reverse or change the decision. When content is restored, some distribution or technical effects can take time to recover. Copyright and legal requests can have separate challenge processes.
